Huge news: Agatha Christie’s Poirot: Curtain, Poirot’s Last Case received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Television Movie! After 25 years and 70 mysteries, this marks the very first nomination for both the show and Acorn TV. All 70 mysteries, including the Emmy-nominated finale, are now streaming on Acorn TV!
For the last two decades, David Suchet has been synonymous with the brilliant Belgian detective, and with Curtain, Poirot’s Last Case, he completed the unsurpassed feat of portraying Agatha Christie’s iconic sleuth in all 70 Poirot stories. Curtain takes place in post-war 1940s England, where an ailing Poirot reunites with Captain Hastings (Hugh Fraser) at Styles, the place where they solved their first murder thirty years prior. Knowing that one of the guests is a killer, Poirot tries to prevent another murder, understanding that his own death is nearing.
A huge cheer for David Suchet, Hugh Fraser, and all of the many people who worked hard to bring this show to life over the last 25 years. And a huge thank you to the many fans who supported the show throughout its run!
